The flagship of our range, Arcturus is not merely the largest, loudest monitor we offer, it’s also the most advanced. Primarily intended for soffit-installed mains applications, it deploys the same coaxial and axisymmetric design as Quasar, but with unique twin ring radial neodymium SEAS subwoofers that offer some of the lowest distortion and most linear output we have ever seen measured. Arcturus represents the pinnacle of our R&D efforts to provide the ultimate in clarity, headroom and depth.

Coaxial Midrange/Tweeter

Bleeding edge Composite Sound Metamodal TeXtreme diaphragms: ultralight, ultra-stiff carbon fabrics with optimized fiber geometries to actively control and suppress resonances.

Mathematically optimal midrange waveguide shape, underhung surround, and optimized point source acoustic center alignment provides superb off-axis response.

State of the art, super low distortion neodymium motor design.

Electronics

Flagship AKM Velvet Sound AK4493/AK5572 based conversion leaves no sonic footprint.

Hypex Ncore amplifiers provide gobs of squeaky clean, efficient power. 5th gen SHARC+ DSP hardware can crunch many, many numbers at once.

Included 2RU remote AMP/DSP pack – top and bottom venting is required.

Sealed Valchromat Cabinets

Stiff, dense and well damped, with none of the chuffing or group delay of ported designs.

Ultra-rigid 38mm laminated front baffle to handle the impressive output of the twin 26cm subwoofers. Radiused insets for the subwoofers eliminate potential lip shadow from the tall boy surrounds.

Available in either straight wall or rounded edge versions to accommodate either soffit-install or free-standing operation.

DSP

Proprietary, in house calibration code completely flattens frequency, phase and impulse response.
