Terra’s 40Hz linear (F1 at 40Hz, F6 at 30Hz) extends to 30Hz linear (F1 at 30Hz, F6 at 20Hz). System SPL increases to 112dB @ 1kHz (106dB @ 50Hz) – headroom for critical passages and larger spaces. Full-range accuracy without the typical integration compromises of adding aftermarket subwoofers.
Pair of 26cm PuriFi subwoofers in compact enclosures allows near-field placement alongside Terra. Stereo bass information remains accurate, room mode excitation is minimized, and the complete system fits where single large subwoofers can’t. Professional 2.2 configuration in a manageable footprint.

TECHNICAL FOUNDATION
Gravity completes the Terra system by providing deep low-frequency extension that maintains the same phase coherence and accuracy standards Terra establishes. Designed as a passive subwoofer system powered directly from Terra’s rear panel, Gravity integrates without the external amplification, bass management processors, or phase alignment challenges typical of adding subwoofers to an existing monitoring setup.
Cabinet Engineering
Gravity uses the same monocoque aluminum extrusion approach as Terra, scaled for subwoofer duty. Each cabinet is a 12mm flat-wall extrusion with 25mm ribbing at all corners and center wall points. Both front and rear baffles are 19mm solid aluminum, compressed onto the main shell with M12 bolts applying nearly 4 tons of clamping force to the entire assembly.
The result is a cabinet engineered for the extreme forces of low-frequency reproduction – no flexing, no panel resonance, no cabinet contribution to what you’re hearing. Just the acoustic output of the driver, nothing else.
Driver Technology
Gravity uses 26cm PuriFi PTT10.0W96-08 drivers – the same hybrid motor architecture and symmetrical surround geometry as Terra’s woofer, scaled for dedicated low-frequency duty. Custom concave aluminum diaphragms maximize bending stiffness in the low frequencies where these drivers operate.
The PuriFi architecture delivers exceptional linear excursion with extremely fast settling time. Uneven stiffness creates harmonic distortion and compression artifacts – this symmetrical design eliminates those distortions even at the long excursions required for deep bass reproduction.
When integrated with Terra via zero-phase LR4 crossover at 80Hz, the system reaches 30Hz linear (F1 at 30Hz, F6 at 20Hz). Each Gravity driver delivers substantial output in a compact 12″ cube enclosure, allowing placement near Terra for optimal phase coherence.
System Integration & Amplification
Gravity is a passive design – it contains no amplifiers or electronics. All power and control comes from Terra’s rear panel amplification, specifically engineered to drive Gravity’s impedance and power requirements.
This integrated approach eliminates the typical challenges of adding subwoofers: no level matching between separate amplifiers, no phase alignment between independent DSP systems, no bass management crossover points to configure. Terra’s DSP handles crossover integration, time alignment, and system calibration for the complete 2.2 configuration.
Each Gravity driver is measured during production to verify performance specifications. When connected to Terra, the rear panel integration ensures proper impedance matching and power delivery, and Terra’s DSP applies the appropriate crossover and time alignment for seamless system operation.
